Waiver:-Where "I" and "Bike" are used in singular context, they can also be taken to mean "We" and "Bikes" in plural context if multiple bikes are being rented.

• During the online booking process, I have read and understood the Terms and Conditions of hire. If I have any questions or concerns I must clarify these with a staff member at CycleWorx NZ Ltd prior to usage of the rental bike.
• I understand that cycling is an outdoor sport, and with that comes various risks. In the event of becoming hurt/injured/killed I will not hold CycleWorx NZ Ltd liable for any damages/injuries. 
• I accept that closed shoes and a helmet are mandatory items to be worn whilst operating any of our hire bikes.
• I accept all responsibility for any damage caused to 3rd parties while the bike is on hire.
• I am responsible for ensuring the security of the bike while it is on hire. In the event of the bike being lost/damaged/stolen I understand that I am liable to pay the insurance excess of $1500.
• I understand that I may be charged late fees as stated in the Terms and Conditions.
• I understand that I may be responsible for further repair costs if it is determined by CycleWorx NZ Ltd that excessive damage to the bike has occurred while it is out of store on my booking.
• CycleWorx NZ Ltd will not be responsible to cover the cost of any repairs undertaken by a 3rd party.
• I understand that stated range on the models of bike are only estimates and not guarantees. the functional range of the bike will vary depending on many factors.
• Our step-through bicycles are rated to ASTM Category 2, additionally they are NOT to be used on the beach.
• ----ASTM Category 1: This is a set of conditions for the operation of a bicycle on a regular paved surface where the tires are intended to maintain ground contact.
• ----ASTM Category 2:This is a set of conditions for the operation of a bicycle that includes Category 1 as well as unpaved and gravel roads and trails with moderate grades. In this set of conditions, contact with irregular terrain and loss of tire contact with the ground may occur. Drops are intended to be limited to 15cm (6") or less.
• If the bike is affected by a mechanical issue while in use, please contact CycleWorx NZ Ltd and we will assist in getting you back on the road.
